At XO Shipping, we are looking for trainees to join our team of outstanding professionals at our headquarters in Hellerup.
As a trainee at XO Shipping, you will join our team to gain extensive knowledge and experience in the main areas of shipping. You will join our various departments, and a mentor will be dedicated to you in each department.
As a two-year trainee at XO Shipping, you will follow the theoretical training of the Commercial Shipping Programme at the Danish Shipping Academy with other Danish and international shipping trainees. The theoretical training consists of a unique combination of classroom sessions and e-learning. You will gain comprehensive knowledge about every field within shipping, including Maritime Law, Maritime Economics, Ship Design, Logistics and Supply Chain, Shipping Relations, Cultural Awareness, Ship Knowledge, and Energy Adapting for a sustainable future.
The programme offers hands-on experience with all aspects of shipping, accompanied by participation in tailored courses.

You hold a Danish HHX or STX with mathematics on level B as a minimum
You have excellent social skills and a desire to contribute to a positive atmosphere

You are self-motivated and able to multi-task
You have international experience through work or studies and a global mindset with excellent English communication skills
